    Both the subjects concern thoretical studies of electronic transport through simple molecules and nanostructures, taking into account quantum interferenfce and electronic interactions. The studies are performed within the Marie Curie Research Network "Fundamentals of Nanoelectronics" , which operates in the 7th Framework Programme of  EC for 2009 - 2012.
