The European Charter for Researcher and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers were developed by the European Commission in 2005. Those two documents are key-elements in the European Union’s policy that aims at creating better employment and working conditions for researchers throughout Europe. The Charter and Code are recommendations for good practice for researchers and their employers or funders.
On the August 7th 2015 the Director of the Institute of Molecular Physics Polish Academy of Sciences Prof. Bogdan Idzikowski signed the Declaration of support for the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researcher.
Taking into account the principles of the European Charter and Code, the Institute created its development strategy titled Human Resources Strategy for Researchers - Internal Gap Analysis and Action Plan with activities aimed at increasing the degree of alignment with the European Charter and Code.
The Institute of Molecular Physics Polish Academy of Sciences has received the “HR Excellence in Research” award on the 19th December 2016.
