The Enigma Cipher Centre is a unique and immersive museum experience dedicated to the history of cryptography and the breaking of the Enigma code during the Second World War. Through an innovative multimedia exhibition, visitors are first introduced to the fascinating world of ciphers and encryption, before exploring interactive displays and solving cryptographic challenges themselves. The visit combines history, technology, and mystery, offering an engaging journey into the events that helped shape the modern digital world.
Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC):
The Future at Your Fingertips: A Visit to PSNC
We invite you to an exclusive visit at the PSNC – a place where data gains real power, serving as the digital heart of the region. During our journey, you will closely explore three extraordinary technological realms.
- Network Operations Center (NOC): You will witness the 24/7, live monitoring of a fiber optic bloodstream that connects Polish and European research centers into a single, highly fault-tolerant network.
- Data Center: You will step into massive IT halls covering 1,600 square meters, home to the Proxima supercomputer, which boasts a staggering 23 petaflops of computing power dedicated to scientific projects and Artificial Intelligence solutions. You will also discover how our eco-friendly systems allows us to recover heat from thousands of processors to warm the entire building.
- Quantum Laboratory: You will come face to face with a technological breakthrough by observing the PIAST-Q and ORCA quantum computers. You will learn how this unique European hybrid architecture uses trapped ions and single photons of light to evaluate millions of solutions simultaneously.
Join us to see the true workshop of modern science, where machines are actively designing life-saving drugs and simulating climate change. The future is not a distant concept; it is happening right here!
