Financial support for the young scientists from the less developed regions of Europe and the world
We are pleased to announce that, thanks to the financial support from the Vectors of Science Programme of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, we are able to offer 10 conference scholarships to the young scientists from the less developed regions of Europe and the world. The funding will cover the cost of lodgings for the duration of the conference and part of the conference fee. Consequently, the special reduced rate for scholarship recipients is:
- regular participants -- 2000 PLN
- PhD students and undergraduates – 1000 PLN
Regrettably, we are unable to cover the cost of travel and the conference banquet.
The candidates should send the application consisting of:
- filled application form (available here in DOCX or PDF),
- Curriculum Vitae including information on education and scientific career, scientific publications, participation in projects, internships, conferences, and awards and prizes received,
- grades in studies (in case of students) and scientific achievements (publications, awards and prizes, participation in projects, internships, and conferences).
The strict deadline for the application is February 27, 2026.
The winners of the scholarship will be selected by the jury consisting of members of the PM'26 Organizing Committee. The results of the competition will be announced on March 16, 2026.
Formal conditions for obtaining the scholarship are:
- age up to 30 (exceptions can be made in justified cases e.g. maternal/paternal leave)
- affiliation (not the place of origin) from the less developed regions of Europe and the world
- submitted presentation (poster or oral) for the PM’26 (manuscript submission are welcomed).
The jury will select the winning applications taking into account both the scientific achievements of the candidate up to date and the scientific merits of the submitted contributions. In the case of undergraduates or freshly graduated the grades received during studies will be taken into account.
In view of the Russian Federation's ongoing aggression in Ukraine, participation in the PM'26 conference by scientists with an affiliation from the Russian Federation or Belarus is not allowed. Hence, applications with an affiliation from those countries will not be accepted.
