 Basic Properties and Technology

May 31 - June 2, 2004

Bedlewo near Poznan, Poland

SCOPE

Scope of the School

The following problems essential for physics of nanostructures are within the scope of the School:

1)    spintronics (spin-injection, spin-dependent transport),

2)    fundamental physical phenomena (electron correlations, Coulomb blockade, Kondo effect, etc.),

3)    nanotechnology (preparation techniques; structural, magnetic and electrical characterization).

Programme

The programme of the School will consist of invited (90 min.) and contributed talks (up to 30 min.) as well as poster presentations.
